Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 18, 2026

This policy explains what data Test Your Launch processes when you use the URL scan or the deep scan, and how we keep it to a minimum.

Who we are

Test Your Launch ("we", "us") operates testyourlaunch.com and provides an automated launch-readiness report for web apps. For any privacy question or request, contact us at testyourlaunch@gmail.com.

What we process

We deliberately collect as little as possible:

  • URL scan: the URL you submit. We fetch only what is publicly visible from that URL to produce the score. We do not create an account or store your identity.
  • Deep scan (ZIP upload): the project archive you upload. It is cleaned in a sandbox, read to generate the report, and deleted after the report is produced. The resulting report is stored temporarily and served through a private link that expires.
  • Anti-abuse: your IP address is used to verify you are human (Cloudflare Turnstile) and to rate-limit abuse. On our side we only keep a hashed form of the IP, not the raw address.
  • Payment: processed by Stripe. Card details never touch our servers. Your name and email are handled by Stripe to take the payment and send your receipt; we do not store your email on our own servers.

Service providers (processors)

We rely on a small number of providers who process data on our behalf:

  • Stripe — payment processing and receipts.
  • Cloudflare — Turnstile anti-bot verification.
  • Google Firebase — temporary storage of uploaded code and generated reports.
  • Upstash — queueing and rate-limiting.

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where data leaves the EU/EEA, it is transferred under appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses) offered by each provider.

Why we process it (legal bases)

  • Performance of a contract — to run the scan, generate the report and take payment.
  • Legitimate interests — to keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

How long we keep it

  • Uploaded code is deleted as soon as the report is generated.
  • Generated reports and job records expire automatically (around 14 days).
  • The hashed IP associated with a scan is removed with the job record.
  • Payment records are retained by Stripe as required for accounting and tax purposes.

Cookies

We do not use advertising or analytics tracking cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile may set a strictly necessary token to verify your request. Because of this, we do not show a cookie consent banner.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to certain processing. Email testyourlaunch@gmail.com. For payment-related data, you can also exercise your rights directly through Stripe. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children

The service is not intended for anyone under the age of 16.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will update the date above when we do.
